3 Mobile Offers the Best Deal for a Free iPhone 4 16GB in Black and White

The launch of the latest iPhone 4S has sparked a wave of discounts for the previous iPhone 4 model and with stocks running low on the newer version and the older receiving the new iOS5 update, many consumers are opting for iPhone 4 deals rather than paying extra for the latest model.

The dedicated 3G network; 3 Mobile, currently offers the best deal for a free iPhone 4 which works out to be far cheaper than buying the latest iPhone 4S with the same memory capacity, the 16GB iPhone 4 is now being offered free of charge by the 3 Mobile network for just £30 line rental per month.

This deal is on the '3 Mobile Text 300' tariff and includes 500MB of inclusive data usage every month for keeping the phone up to date, downloading applications, web browsing and emailing, there are also 300 minutes of inclusive calls which can be used at any time of the day and to call other mobile networks and landlines as well as 5000 text messages.

This iPhone 4 deal equates to a total £720 over the minimum term contract period which is 24 months, compare this with the cheapest deal for a free iPhone 4S 16GB which currently stands at £40.85 on the T-Mobile network and costs a total of £980.40 for the overall contract period and that is a massive saving of £260.40 by opting for the older model.

We might be referring to the 4th generation iPhone as the 'older' model but with the latest iOS5 update now available this phone does very much the same as the new iPhone 4S, it has even been proven over the last couple of days that the new 'Siri' voice system which is supposed to be unique to the new model can now work on the iPhone 4.

So what do you get for your money when buying an iPhone 4 16GB?

Well, one of the most iconic mobile phone designs of all time, so much so that Apple used the same casing for their latest iPhone 4S and simply looking at the exterior of the phone you can not tell the models apart.

On board is a 5 mega pixel camera which can record video clips in 720p HD quality and uses an LED flash for illumination, a 3.5 inch touch screen display offering a 960 x 640 resolution, 3.5G data support, Wi-Fi, GPS and access to thousands of new applications via the App Store.
